Grilled Beef With Rice

  1. Beef 300 gm (steaks) 
  2. For Marinade: 
  3. Sesame oil 60 ml 
  4. Soy sauce 50 ml (light) 
  5. Ginger 40 gm (chopped) 
  6. Garlic 40 gm (chopped) 
  7. Garlic-chilli sauce 130 gm 
  8. Tomato, onion and cucumber roundels to serve 
  9. For Fried Rice: 
  10. Rice 600 gm (boiled/cooked) 
  11. Oil 3 tbsp 
  12. Eggs 4 (lightly whisked) 
  13. Spring onion 40 gm (sliced) 
  14. Baby corn 40 gm (sliced) 
  15. Snow peas 40 gm (sliced) 
  16. For Seasoning: 
  17. Sugar 30 
  18. gm Salt 30 gm 
  19. Soy sauce 30 gm 
  20. Garlic sauce 30 gm

Recipe

  1. Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade and marinate the beef in it for a couple of hours. Grill the marinated beef till it reaches desired level of doneness. 
  2. Cut into pieces and keep aside. 
  3. To prepare fried rice: 
  4. Heat oil in a wok, add eggs, cook and stir until egg is lightly scrambled. 
  5. Add all the vegetables and stir-fry for a minute. 
  6. Add rice and toss again. 
  7. Mix in all the seasoning ingredients, toss again. 
  8. To serve, create a bed of tomato, onion, cucumber roundels, place beef pieces on top and serve with a portion of rice.
