Shahi Mutter Pulao

Ingredients

  1. Rice ½ kg (soaked for 30 minutes)
  2. Oil ¼ cup
  3. Black pepper 10
  4. Cloves 6
  5. Cinnamon 1 inch piece
  6. Green cardamom 2
  7. Black cardamom 1
  8. Brown onion ½ cup
  9. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  10. Chili powder 1 tsp
  11. Salt 1 ½ tsp
  12. Yogurt 1 cup
  13. Peas 1 cup (boiled)
  14. Eggs 2 for garnish (boiled)

Recipe

  1. Heat oil add black pepper, clove, cinnamon, green cardamom, black cardamom, brown onion, ginger garlic paste and ¼ cup water.
  2. Add salt and chili powder, beaten yogurt and boiled peas, fry well.
  3. Add in soaked rice with 2 cups water.
  4. Cover and cook till all water dries.
  5. Simmer it on high heat for 5 minutes and on low heat for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
